Crafted in slip-cast porcelain and available in six signature tones, the London Plane Tea Mug draws inspiration from the textured bark and branching form of London’s plane trees. Unlike other pieces in the collection, the entire mug is glazed, giving it a smooth tactility that feels comforting in the hands and pleasing on the lips.
Its gently curved body and distinctive forked handle, echoing the split of a tree branch, make it both sculptural and ergonomic. Generous in form, it’s perfect for a slow morning or a warming breakfast in bed this winter. The slip cast plates take at least 2 weeks each to process through production. Emma is building up a small studio team to help her with this. Sometimes the collection is made by just her hands and sometime by multiple hands along the process.
Due to this lengthy process delivery on the plates is currently at 2 weeks.
The plates are batch produced by colour and as we build up stock levels and manage our timings we can’t guarantee a plate is waiting on a shelf for you to buy - we might have to make it specially for you.
